The hotel offers a selection of twin & double bedded accommodation, along with three & four-bedded family rooms, plus a range of facilities to suit the whole family.All bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated, with the added comfort of colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone.
Lounge Bar, Coffee Shop and Dining Room Situated adjacent to the Reception, the Lounge Bar is an ideal place to meet with friends, enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or just simply spend time relaxing. The bar is open throughout the day serving drinks, teas, coffees & snacks.Overlooking the indoor pool, the Coffee Shop is open throughout the day serving a selection of sandwiches & light snacks. Breakfast and dinner are served daily in the Metropole’s spacious Dining Room. Special diet or a la-carte menus can be provided on request, and children are not forgotten either - there is a menu especially for them.
The hotel offers both an indoor and an outdoor pool so that, irrespective of the weather, guests never have to miss the opportunity to enjoy a swim. After a swim or work out nothing helps you to unwind better than relaxing in the jacuzzi or the steam room, both adjacent to the indoor swimming pool. For the health conscious, the gymnasium provides seven independent weight stations and three independent aerobic machines to ensure a full body work out.
Sun Terrace & Gardens Surrounding the outdoor pool in a sheltered sun trap you will find the pool side terrace and garden area, providing the ideal spot to lounge around during those long hot summer days whilst the children play safely in their own paddling pool. Launched in April 2009 is our brand new games room with facilities including pool table, air hockey and flat screen television.As if that wasn’t enough, they have opened their newly developed function suite; The Granite Suite, with separate interconnecting bar and function/entertainment room. The function suite contains its own washroom facilities and can be used completely independently of the rest of the hotel. |
